The Quad Cities are four cites in close proximity to each other along the great Mississippi River in northwestern Illinois and northeastern Iowa. The Quad cities consist of Davenport, Iowa; Bettendorf, Iowa, Moline, Illinois and Rock Island, Illinois. The Quad Cities are just south of the Minnesota and Wisconsin state borders. The Mississippi River runs through the Quad Cities area. Riverboat gambling is available along with fine dining options, making the Quad Cites area a great overnight vacation destination.
